AOL 9.0 Security Edition

AOL announced a new version 9.0 Security Edition, which I had downloaded last week, while waiting for my students to finish a test, and all of the sudden, I could not pull up any Word or Powerpoint files. Obviously this program is something you have to read up on before you download (which I did not). So to finish my presentation to my students, I had to uninstall AOL 9.0 SE. Motto - look before you leap. 

 There are some very good features such as free McAfee's ViruScan Online, and easier Spam filters, but read up on this version before you leap, as I did not.  It does include firewall and spyware-detection tools but they each have to be downloaded separately.
